Meadowlark Provisions was founded in fall of 2022 with a simple mission in mind – bringing only the good stuff to Iowa.
We specialize in natural wines made by small producers. We specialize in wine made by people, not large corporations. Meadowlark has an eclectic portfolio that ranges from wines that read classical to wines that are pretty wild and out there. We specialize in joyous porch pounders and also serious and contemplative wines. It’s a big wild world of wine out there and we just want to bring you a little bit of the good stuff.
Meet Kevin
Founder and Wine Guy.
Kevin Roberts, main wine guy at Meadowlark, has more than twenty years in and around the beverage industry in Iowa. He cut his teeth in the homebrew and craft beer world, while working as an organic chemist and waiting for his wife to finish graduate school in Iowa City.
After a chance visit to Chambers Street Wine in New York City, Kevin became fascinated by the diversity in the world of natural wine and like a good researcher, he began seeking out interesting wine wherever he went. The rest is history.
Meadowlark Provisions was born out of his desire to bring good wine – actually great wines -- to the state of Iowa.
